A man has been kidnapped by unknown assailants in Ludaing, Maungdaw.
In the hours after midnight on Saturday, an unknown number of men called on to Rashid Ullah(s/o Md Ali) to come out of his house. As the strangers called on him in the Burmese tongue, he presumed they were from the Tatmadaw and went outside. Since then he has been missing.
In the hours after dawn, the villagers launched a search mission but did not find anyone. However, they found a place with a lot of blood, leading to suspicions the kidnapped man might have been killed
The victim is known as a government collaborator.
