On Monday morning 4 Rohingyas, including 3 infants, received bullet injuries at camp 8W in Ukhiya while a heavily gunfight took place between Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and other armed group who are fighting for dominance in camp.

The injured Rohingyas are between ages 5- 55, including Karim Ullah (55). All are inhabitants of camp 8W.

The Rohingyas said that the clash took place between members of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO), over control and domination of the camp. Meanwhile, four Rohingyas were injured in the clashes. Later they were rescued and taken to the hospital.

The frequent clashes by armed groups in camp made Rohingyas highly concerned over safety in camp and the Rohingya image around the globe.

A Rohingya from the camp said that the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) should identify the suspects and capture their nearest relatives (If identified the suspect goes into hiding). And the relatives should be prosecuted under the relevant acts. If the LEA does so, the criminal activities, around and inside the camp will certainly be decreased into very high rate.
