Maungdaw- Rakhine nationalist activists many of them aligned to the Ma Ba Tha and the ANP held a huge meeting in Maungdaw town on Thursday where they called on the government to take stringent actions against the Rohingya Muslim populace, according to sources.
During the meeting they speakers stressed on three points, to not recognise the Rohingyas as a separate ethnic community and as citizens or residents of Myanmar, not to let international aid organisations into Rohingya areas, and to take actions for Rohingyas for the murder of two monks that took place in the town last week near Kya Maung.
