Today morning the military council army reportedly burnt down the Bodhi Alinn Charity School of Khamaung Seik village near Byuha Kone in northern Maungdaw.
The locals said the military came out of Byuha Kone hill, entered the village in search of food and went to Bodhi Alinn Charity School at Khamaung Seik village and set fire there.
The fire broke out at 9:45 am, of 30 August 2022 and the people saw the blaze from Min Kha Maing village, which is one mile far away.
There are 2 phone towers in Khamaung Seik, one cannot be refueled to operate and another one is under the control of military council. For which villagers are unable to make call, according to villagers.
Since 26 August, on the side of Khamaung Seik village, the Arakan Army (AA) and the Military Council have been fighting that forced all the villagers, including charity students to flee to safety.
