Buthidaung: On Thursday (October 27) around 5 pm, the military council fired heavy weapons in to nearby Rohingya village and a bullet hit one Amir Abdus Salam (42) while he was going to Sein Nyin Pya village mosque to perform Shab Guzaree (every Thursday night worshipers gathers in a mosque called ‘Markaj’ to pray).
The injured person is Amir Abdus Salam (42) son of Ali Ahmed resident of Poe Kaung Chaung hamlet in Kyin Pya village.
A villager from Buthidaung told Rohingya Khobor (RK) that bullets hit Amir Abdus Salam and he got severe injuries to his left leg and in some parts of his body. The villagers rushed him to Buthidaung hospital for treatment.
It also has been learnt that on October 23, the Military Council based in Guta Pyin Village of Buthidaung Township, committed drone attack at a school in Poe Kaung Chaung (Rohingya) village and damaged the roof of the school and injured 3 innocent civilians, including a refugee.
