Sixty (60) village-administrator resign in Myebon Township

0n June 6, 2020, Arakan state (Rakhine), Myebon Township around sixty village-administrator have submitted their resignation to the office of the Myebon Township ‘s administrator. A few days ago, some village-administrators of Myebon were arrested by the Military. The rest of the village-administrators are in a state of fear from been arrested. Furthermore, they are also worried of Arakan Army, according to a village-administrator.

“There are a total of 73 village-administrators of whom 11 village-administrators did not submit their resignations,” said Myebon Township administrator and while the remaining three village-administrators were detained by the Military. U Aung Than, of northern ward administrator of Myebon, was among the arrested person by the police.
