Rathedaung- Hundreds of Tatmadaw and Hlun Htein officiayls entered the restive village tract of Dunsay on Sunday.
Local sources say truckloads of the military and border police personal surrounded Dunsay from all sides and entered the area at around 9.30 am.
The area has been tensed since the crackdown but last month, security forces cautioned there will be increased surveillance for the locals following a video leak that showed Hlun Htein personal assaulting Rohingyas. The video clearly shows that it was shot by the offenders, but the security forces have reacted with vengeance amid an international outcry over the treatment of the Rohingyas in the video.
During the raid, some of the Rohingyas were forced to accept the National Verififcation Card, according to local sources.
