On Monday (13 February) around 10:30 am a motorboat named (Mababar Doa) carrying 69 Rohingyas, including 22 women and 28 children, reached Andaman and Nicobar who were sailing for Indonesia.
An official said that the boat ran out of fuel and due to bad weather, it reached the Andaman and Nicobar jetty. The coastguard official and security personnel went into the boat, provided food and medicine to the victims, according to officials.
The officials further added that they (boatmen) left Bangladesh refugee camp two weeks before. And it has been informed to the Home Minister and External Affair.
