Bola Fira is made out of a mixture of rice flour and white sticky rice flour. The mixture is moulded with boiled water and turned into a dough. The dough is later grated through a bamboo sieve and then they are boiled in hot water and kept aside at normal temperature.
Later, the Bola Firas can be refrigerated or can be kept in iced water for giving a touch of refreshment.
How to serve:
The traditional Bola Firas can be served in a bowl or glass. At first, the Firas are sieved or separated from water and put in a serving bowl or glass. A light brown syrup made out of jaggery is topped over the Firas.
Finally, the Firas are served with grated coconut.
