Camp 20, January 16 — A fire broke out at Camp 20, Block M-28, at approximately 11:50 AM today. The blaze damaged two shelters and completely destroyed one. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Timely intervention by residents and local responders helped extinguish the fire, preventing further destruction. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities are investigating the incident.
This event highlights the urgent need for improved fire safety measures in the refugee camps, as many shelters are highly vulnerable to such hazards.
