On 31st March 2020, six youths of the Nayapara registered camp took the perilous sea voyage to Malaysia. These youths were lured by human traffickers with better futures. However, as of today, their whereabout is unknown.
The parents of those four young men and two girls are traumatized and in great pain.
The name of five of the six missing persons are:
Mohammed Safique son of Abdus Sukkur,
Mohammed Ismail son of Kalam,
Mohammed Rafique son of Hamid Hussein,
Amina Khatun daughter of late Zafar Alam,
and Josna Akter daughter of Yousuf.
They all are from the H-block of Nayapara registered refugee camp of Bangladesh.
Their parents are trying to trace them for the last two years without any success and have requested anyone of their knowledge to contact at this number 01822-070234.
The parents think their children probably be in Malaysian or Myanmar prison if they are alive.
