Today Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen urged and asked the Bangladeshi filmmakers to document and dedicate films on untold stories of 2017’s Tatmadaws genocidal campaign which led thousands of Rohingyas to leave their very own homeland.
A week-long photography exhibition titled ‘Flash on Rohingya Genocide’ at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s National Art Gallery exhibited with a total 120 photographers where the FM said, “I urge our talented filmmakers to make films on the Rohingya issue to spread the truth (worldwide).” He also said, “We do not want any conflict with our neighbouring countries.”
US Ambassador Earl R Miller and Sri Lankan Ambassador Crishanthe de Silva visited the exhibition. It will end on the 8th of January.
