Hlun Htein forces fired shots in the air in Kawa Bil, Maungdaw North leading to panic in the area. The blank shots numbering around 20 were fired at around 9.30 pm on Saturday night.
Earlier, a raid on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of at least 20 men.
In mid October, large parts of the village were evacuated and continuous raids led by Tatmadaw forces led to the deaths of dozens of civilians. Many were arrested and tortured.
An eyewitness report has claimed there are more than a hundred Rohingya prisoners in the Hlun Htein base of Kawa Bil who had their eyes gouged out.
Much of the Kawa Bil populace has fled to Bangladesh.
The blank shots have led to fears more raids will take place in the village.
