On 15 November, Mr Yohei SaSaKawa, special envoy of the government of Japan, for national reconciliation in Myanmar arrived for the second time in Sittwe, Arakan State.
In the morning, he met with the Rakhine state administration council of Arakan state. He has plans to meet with IDPs from both sides, Rohingya and Rakhine and Arakan National Party (ANP).
On 12 November, he met with the chairman of the state administration council, senior general Min Aung Hlaing. They exchanged views on enhancing the friendly relationships between the two countries.
