In response to the kind invitation of the Kingdom of Morocco, and in accordance with the
resolution adopted by the Fifteenth Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers, the Sixteenth
Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers was convened in Fez, from 25 to 29 Rabiul Thani,
1406H corresponding to 3anuary 6 – 10, 1986.
2.The Conference was preceded by a Preparatory Meeting of Seni6r Officials, on 23 Rabiul
Thani, 1406H (January 4, 1986 ), under the Chairmanship of His Excellency Ambassador
Mohamed Tazi, Director of the Department of Arab and Islamic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Kingdom of Morocco.
