The 17th Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers, the Session of Islamic Solidarity with the
uprising of the Palestinian people was held in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,
from 3 – 7 Sha’ban 1408H corresponding to 21 – 25 March 1988, pursuant to the warm and
brotherly invitation extended by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the 5th Islamic
Summit Conference held in Kuwait in January, 1987.
