Mizanur Rahman appointed as new Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner in Cox’s Bazar

On 29 August 2022, the Bangladesh government appointed Additional Divisional Commissioner (Joint Secretary) of Chittagong Division Mohammad Mizanur Rahman as the new Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar, soon after appointing Shah Rezuan Hayat ex-RRRC as Director General of Primary Education.

This information was provided in a notification signed by Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on August 29.

Mohammad Mizanur Rahman is a 17th batch officer of BCS (Administration) cadre. He was previously serving as Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner in Cox’s Bazar.

He joined the post of Additional Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Division on 26 April 2020.
