Buthidaung- Tatmadaw forces once again raided the village tract of Ta Mi in Buthdaung and assaulted scores of women.
On Saturday, the forces went house to house and detained more than 50 women. All the men had fled the area as many have been arrested in the last few days and tortured in custody.
Incidentally armed forces have continuously raided the village over the last few days.
The detained women were taken to a spot where around 15 of them were severely beaten up.
Some of the houses were also looted.
