Yesterday, Maungdaw Police has arrested three Rohingya teenage girls along with two men while they were traveling for Buthidaung.
According to the police briefing they are – Nur Kalima (15), Nayeema (15), Ayesha Siddique (14). Police also added that the parents of the girls had a deal with a broker who agreed to send them to Malaysia.
On 23rd October at 11 p.m., the police arrested them near Shidda para, Maungdaw while they were traveling on a boat for Buthidaung.
Two men have also been arrested along with the three teenagers.
The police has referred the case to the immigration officers of Myanmar.
