President calls for Switzerland’s assistance in resolving the Rohingya crisis

On 17 July 2023 (Monday) President Mohammad Shahabuddin urged Reto Siegfried Renggli, Swiss Ambassador to Dhaka, to put pressure on Myanmar in ending Rohingya crisis through safe, dignified, and a permanent repatriation.

During discussions, the Head of State gratefully recalled Switzerland’s cooperation over the Rohingya issue, President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told the media.
