Today morning heavy wind and rain wrecked refugee shelters in Rohingya refugee camp, Bangladesh.
“On 24/10/2020, Saturday morning heavy rain and wind blew over the camps and left many refugee shelters damaged”, says Mohammed Rofique, block mazi of camp 10.
Lal Mia, bearing FCN 110449, block A2/H46 of camp 10 said, “Today at around 8 am a heavy rain and wind blew and ruined my shed.”
Lal Mia has a family of eight members and is in a dire situation now.
“Not only my house has been destroyed, but many other houses nearby were unrepairable damaged,” he further stated.
Finally, Lal Mia appealed to the camp authority to take necessary measures to assist and repair the effected dwelling places.
