This afternoon, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a press conference at Ganabhaban on her four days visit in India earlier this month, where she said that “Rohingyas are human beings, they cannot be thrown away.” Talks have been held with India to resolve the Rohingya crisis and India is positive about it. However, the head of government said that the main problem is with Myanmar.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that during her visit to India, discussions were held with the country’s government to resolve the Rohingya crisis. She said, “India thinks it is necessary to solve the Rohingya crisis. But Myanmar has absolutely no idea about this. The head of government said that they are not listening to anyone in this regard.”
The Prime Minister said, “The Rohingyas are becoming a problem as they cannot be repatriated. However, they are also human beings, they cannot be thrown away.”
