Maungdaw- A huge Tatmadaw team took up positions in a Taung Pyo neighbourhood on Wednesday, causing panic among locals.
The soldiers have maintained positions till the filing of the report.
The soldiers have reportedly taken up positions in the Kiang Mong neighbourhood after a former chairman was reported missing on Wednesday. Locals fear the Tatmadaw will use false allegations of abduction to harass and even torture innocent civilians.
