On Friday, around 12:30p.m. Myanmar education officials has asked for NVC card from the students of Basis high school (1), Myo Ma Khindan thorp; Maungdaw. Apart from that, school teachers declared if the students neglect the issue and fail to bring NVC by Monday, 20th August, subsequently it will hamper their educational life. Pupils who will not have NVC can accomplish their education till grade 10; however they will not be able to join university or achieve such education. Some other schools also going through the same circumstances.
Many students are refraining from school as they don’t have NVC. The controversial document does not provide them with citizenship but identifies them as immigrants from neighboring Bangladesh.
