Cox’s Bazar, November 27, 2024: A devastating car accident in Block-E10 of Camp 1 East has tragically claimed the life of a five-year-old Rohingya child named Arman. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 PM near his family’s residence.
Arman, born on February 1, 2019, to parents Mohammed Ediris and Noor Hafas, was reportedly playing near the roadside when he was struck by a vehicle believed to belong to the NRC NGO. Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle fatally injured the child before being intercepted by bystanders. The driver was subsequently handed over to the Camp-in-Charge (CIC) officials along with the vehicle.
Community members, including Sub Majhi Eliyas, rushed Arman to the nearest health center. However, medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival due to severe injuries to his body and abdomen.
