On June 20, two government Officers from the District General administration in Maungdaw, Arakan state tested covid-19 positive according to Dr Nu Kaythi San, superintendent of Maungdaw district hospital.
As of June 20, there were five covid-19 cases in Maungdaw in the hospital and one of them was discharged.
The official number of Covid -19 cases is 69 in the Arakan state, but the real number will be much higher.
