Yangon: On 28 November, early in the morning, the Military Council from Hlaengku Township arrested 68 Rohingyas, including 14 women who were travelling in a 12-wheeler vehicle near Nyaung Bapin Zone (1) at Hlaengku township of Yangoon.
The detainees got arrested while they were crossing Nyaung Bapin area in a 12 wheeler vehicle for Malaysia. All of the detainees have been identified as Rohingyas from Rakhine State. Further details have not known yet.
There have been many incidents of frequently arresting local Rohingya by the coup Military Council in Rakhine State and imprisoning without proper prosecution under acts.
