Arakan Rohingya National Organisaton launches report examining implementation of Rakhine Recommendations

The Arakan Rohingya National Organisation (ARNO) has launched a report on its website, assessing the implementation of the Rakhine Recommendations which were produced by the Kofi Annan Commission around 2017. The Annan Commission recommendations were provided to the Government of Myanmar, then led by the National League for Democracy, in two parts. ARNO has examined the preliminary recommendations made by the Annan Commission prior to the 2017 purges and ARNO has also examined the full set of recommendations thereafter.

ARNO’s report examines the actions by the parties in Myanmar and the Arakan and actions they have taken to implement the recommendations.
