ARNO slammed the recent Myanmar military’s trail as shameful, insulting and injurious

Yesterday, The Arakan Rohingya National Organization (ARNO) stated the announcement of the Myanmar military on 29 June 2020 regarding the secret trial of three officers who were found guilty for the 2017 massacre of Rohingyas as “a complete miscarriage of justice”

Earlier in March 2018, the first court-martial sentenced four military officers and three soldiers to 10 years in prison for killing 10 Rohingya men in Inn Din village. But the perpetrators were released in less than one year.

ARNO states that these attempts are to divert international pressure, hide their atrocity crimes and above all protect the high officials and the planners of the genocide of the Rohingya.
