Today, Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan asked for countries who previously showed willingness to resettle Rohingyas in their countries.
He told the reporters, “In today’s meeting, we have decided to look into the number of Rohingyas these countries want to take. We have not received any proposal yet but foreign ministry is working on it.”
He also added that,” If any country expresses interest, we would like to tell them to take a large number (of Rohingyas) instead of a small group.”
The Home Minister delivered the following speech in the 5th meeting of the National Committee on Coordination, Management and Law and Order of Displaced Myanmar Citizens.
