The BDRCS and other NGOs supplied emergency aid today to refugees of E block who were victims of fire incident at Nayapara refugee camp in Teknaf, Cox’sbazar.
The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) today at around noon distributed household goods packet along with two blankets and two mats to every affected family, while BRAC International provided 50 small bamboos, 5 big bamboos, 1 tent and binding wire per family.
ACF International provided one cartoon biscuit in the morning, Khichuri in the afternoon and meal for dinner to each family.
“The NGOs supplied those aid following the advice of RRRC”, said a refugee from E block”, adding that at about 10:30 AM, RRRC, Camp In Charge and other representatives from several NGOs visited the spot where RRRC consoled the affected people and urged the concerned NGOs to provide emergency aid.
