Military led forces raided Nga Khura in Northern Maungdaw and arrested four people from the Paschim Para of the village on Tuesday.
The security forces claimed they were entering the village for census purposes but there were no activities of the immigration officials known as the La Wa Ka.
Sources say the four people have been charged with terrorism related cases. At least one of them have been transferred to the infamous Buthidaung jail.
Former inmates of Buthidaung jail have alleged they had to go through inhumane torture which included being beaten like snakes with iron rods, and the breaking of body parts, one by one. Many released from Buthidaung jail have been maimed for life, while death by torture remains common throughout Arakan, especially in this infamous prison.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of Rohingya men arrested in 2017 continue to remain unaccounted.
