The recent heavy monsoon has flooded one-third of Bangladesh where more than one million Bangladeshi villagers are stranded and are searching for high ground. On the other hand, another one million Rohingya refugees who are living in makeshift camps are risking landslide and flooding. Besides, the reduction of NGO activities and supports has further worsened the situation. In addition, there is some news of extortion and kidnapping in the camp. Although the Bangladeshi authorities are working hard to address these issues, where it has recently assigned two Armed Police Battalion, a more comprehensive strategy is needed to put the culprits behind the bar.
