Recently, Myanmar’s NLD spokesperson U Zaw Htay was released after four months of arrest.
According to a military source, he was released around 10 days ago from military custody and discharged from his position. The source said, “It seemed he was told to stay out of view and keep quiet.”
Earlier in February, he was arrested from a government residence in Naypyitaw just after the Military coup. He was also the director-general for the Office of State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
