The notification issued by Prime Minister’s office on January 30 revealed that Queen Mathilde of Belgium is coming to Bangladesh in a three day visit (February 6 to 8) as one of the 17 advocates committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN Secretary General.
During the visit, the President, Abdul Hamid will have a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She will also visit a Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar, a garment factory, a local school and flood-related projects.
She is scheduled to return to his home country on February 8 after the visit.
