The Bangladesh Rakhine community held a human chained protest in Dhaka today contrary to killings, arbitrarily arrest, rape, arson, planned attacks and other crimes by Myanmar junta at the various areas in the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
Myanmar army, in the pretext of war against Arakan Army (AA) left more than 300 civilians dead and up to 600 injured in various part of Rakhine state of Myanmar, Knnyng convenor of Bangladesh Rakhine Community asserted at a human chain protest held at Dhaka today at around 11 am.
“At least 250,000 people lost their homes and became refugees on account of intolerable raping, torturing, looting, and torching homes by Myanmar military”, he further added.
Protesters urged the international community, including the European Commission, Russia and China, to take necessary action. Kannyng stated, “The perpetrators will continue their heinous crime if we don’t protest and condemn them.”
“The international community called for justice when Gambia filed a complaint against Myanmar over the Rohingya massacre at the International Court of Justice,” said Mofidul Haque, Liberation War Museum trustee. In addition, he urged that the International community must put pressure on Myanmar to combat killing and making civilians homelessness.
