17 June 2025 | Jadimura, Shalbagan – Camp-26
The Rohingya Committee for Peace and Repatriation (RCPR) held an important community meeting today in Camp-26, bringing together Rohingya men, women, and youth to strengthen unity and reaffirm the shared hope of returning home to Arakan.
The event saw strong participation from Rohingya residents, community elders, and youth leaders, all united in their commitment to peace, justice, and the right to return with dignity and rights guaranteed.
RCPR leaders urged the community to stay peaceful and united in their struggle. “Our movement is not just about survival,” said RCPR chairman Dil Mohammed. “It is about justice, dignity, and going home with our heads held high. If we stand together and avoid division, the world will have to hear our voice.”
The speakers emphasized the importance of nonviolence, solidarity, and rejecting fear and conflict within the camps. They also reminded the audience that the Rohingya identity must be preserved through mutual respect and collective efforts.

The meeting concluded with a strong message:
“RCPR stands for Rohingya. RCPR stands for Justice. RCPR is your voice.”
As uncertainty continues, the event served as a reminder that the will to return to Arakan remains alive in the hearts of Rohingya people—and that the call for peace, rights, and home is not fading.
