Refugees from the world largest refugee camp of Bangladesh today said that they are passing days in fear of witnessing another fire incident.
“We witnessed life lost in several incidents many times, like military crackdown in Myanmar, fire incident both in Nayapara and Balukhali camp of Bangladesh”, a Rohingya from Unchoprang camp said.
“From the time of Balukhali fire incident, we are passing days in fearful condition as fire-starting became a common thing in refugee camps. We don’t know, how the fire starts and by whom it is done” another refugee Karim Ullah said to Rohingya Khobor.
Karim further added that they are now guarding at night to protect their respective refuge camps.
