4 Rohingyas fined for violating lockdown in Rohingya camp No. 22 in Teknaf

On July 7, 2021 mobile court has fined four Rohingyas for violating a strict lockdown at the Unchiprang Rohingya Camp No. 22 in Teknaf.

On July 7 (Wednesday) at 12 noon, a mobile court with the help of APBN police officers and forces arrested four Rohingya refugees and fined BDT 500 under Section 24 (1) of the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Act 2016 for violating strict lockdown.

The fined Rohingya refugees are Mohammed Shaker (40) son of Mohammed Younus, Mohammed Hossain (27) son of Dilder, Mohammed Ayub (19) son of Rashid Ahmed, and Riyas (33) son of Abdur Razzak. All are inhabitants of Unchiprang camp 22.
