Today the camp authority declared restriction on movement for a week to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and every single person in the camps has been ordered to confine in their dwelling places except for urgent needs such as medical care, food etc.
“All NGOs and INGOs activities would be off for a week except health care and food supplying centres around the camps”, An employee from the camp authority said.
Legal actions or financial fines will be charged against the violators, the camp authority added.
Mohammed Islam, a camp leader urges his fellow refugees to abide by the orders of the authority for the protection of the refugees from COVID-19.
