On 2 November 2021 at around 9 pm Hashim second commander of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) has been beaten to death during clashes between two groups at Unchoprang camp of Huwaykhong, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
A Rohingya refugee from the Unchiprang camp told the Rohingyakhobor that the associates of Hashim with his order killed hundreds of Rohingyas in the refugee camp. Now the general refugees are very happy knowing the Hasim is no more.
A reliable source said that Hasim create terror in the camp for a long time. He was one of the masterminds behind the recent assassination of top Rohingya leader Muhibullah and the attack on the madrassa. He even tortured many of his collaborators.
The body has been sent to Cox’s Bazar morgue for autopsy.
