The recent heavy rain has flooded many parts of the camp and especially at the No Man’s Land which is popularly known as the Zero-Point. The camp there is the closest to the Bangladesh-Myanmar border. Currently, there are 4775 refugees. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provides certain provisions.
The current flooding has created a dire situation in the area. The resident of the area needs urgently the following:
- Sanitation
- Tube well
- Health care services, especially for pregnant women
- Education
- Food aid
A local resident of the camp requested for their aid.
