Today, The UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), held an event to mark six years since the Rohingya took shelter in Bangladesh to escape genocide.
The FCDO and IOM will be displaying artifacts from the IOM Rohingya Cultural Memory Centre in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Guests are invited to explore the exhibition which will showcase the rich Rohingya culture and traditions.
The event will also celebrate the memory of the Rohingya community’s lives in Rakhine State and set out their hopes for their future.
