Bangladesh home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that arms are reaching into the country from Myanmar in various ways in an attempt to create instability in the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.
“We have seen clashes between various armed groups to establish dominance in the camps”, the home minister further added.
“Weapons are coming here from Myanmar in various ways to destabilize the environment in the Rohingya camps”, he stated.
29 September 2021, at 8 pm, Mohib Ullah, the Chairman of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human rights was killed at the Refugee camp in Cox’s Bazaar by gunmen.
His family and especially his brother Habib Ullah said that the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) is responsible for his death.
