On last 21 February 2022 at 10:30 am a human chain was organised with hundreds of Rohingya students under the banner of the Rohingya National Education Board for the recognition of the Rohingya language at Towhidiya Kashemul Ulum Madarasa, camp 24, Hnila union of Teknaf.
Mv Abu Taher, the principal of Madarasa said, “To develop our nation we need to revive our language in writing and develop curricula that befit us.”
“We Rohingyas have our own language and script to express our feelings,” Taher said adding that more than 25,000 students are practising the Rohingya language in various centres in the camp.
Other teachers of Towhidiya Kashemul Ulum Madarasa expressed their desire for the global recognition of the Rohingya language to the Rohingya Khobor
