On 26 October 2021 at around 2:30 PM Arm Battalion Police (APBN) apprehended an active member of ARSA from Chakmarkul refugee camp.
The detainee has been identified as Surat Alam (18) son of Nur Mohammed of block E-2 at Chakmarkul camp.
A 16 member APBN team conducted the operation after a tip from an informer.
The superintendent of APBN Tariqul Islam confirmed that the arrestee has been sent to Teknaf Model Police station for legal prosecution.
