In Cox’s Bazar’s Jamtuli Rohingya Camp, the body of one of two Rohingya youths kidnapped by members of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) has been found. Five days ago, ARSA members abducted the two young men, leaving their families and the entire community in distress. The status of the second youth remains unknown, and authorities have yet to confirm if he is alive.
According to residents of Jamtuli Camp, ARSA members took the two young men from their homes for unclear reasons. ARSA, an armed group, has previously been linked to various incidents of violence within Rohingya refugee camps.
