Maungdaw: Today (10 October- Monday) starting from early morning a deadly clash between Arakan Army (AA) and military council took place adjacent to Kuir Khali, a Rohingya village at Maungdaw, where bullet hit a Rohingya man’s head and he perished.

The deceased is the son of Khairullah of Kuir Khali in Maungdaw township.

“Since around 2 o’clock in the morning, we have heard a lot of gunshots. The sound of weapons, The sound of small arms. I heard it until morning. AA hit the turtle camp. That camp is not a big camp. A camp commander and some soldiers were also captured by the AA. We don’t know the details of the most affected,” a local from Maungadw told Rohingya Khobor (RK)

He also said that the military council troops are currently firing heavy weapons nearby mountains.

The more causalities yet to be known, as firing weapons is still going on.

Both Myanmar military and AA are using the land as their battle field where the Rohingya located.

The AA and military started fighting near by a Rohingya village in Maungdaw and killed a Rohingya man, while since late September both groups are fighting at Guda Pyin, a Rohingya village in Buthidaung and killed a Rohingya educated, including damaging of many Rohingya houses.
