The Global Rohingya Forum (GRF USA) urgently appeals to the International community, Government of Bangladesh border authorities and the people of Bangladesh has reopened its border to provide these vulnerable Rohingya with a safe place, on the night August 5, 2024, over 500 Rohingya survivors some were injuries, Who came to safe their lives, Unfortunately didn’t enter to the Bangladesh and had to go back, Who are now at risk in Maungdaw Arakan State Myanmar, the Rohingya community, express our deepest gratitude for the sanctuary, safety, and security you provided to over one million of our people in 2017. The ongoing conflict between the Burmese Genocidal Military and the terrorist Arakan Army (AA) have been killing Thousands of Rohingya civilians and hundreds of thousands have been displacing from their homes on August 5, 2024, drone bombs and fired artillery over 200 Rohingya civilians including children, women, and the elderly were brutally killed while many were injured and also who attempt flee perishing in the Naf Sea as they desperately try to reach the safety of Bangladesh. Therefore, GRF-USA calls upon the ICC, ICJ, US, EU ASIAN, UN, OIC, UN Security Council, International Organisations and international community to act for the immediate protection of Rohingya civilians remaining in Rakhine State. Human rights observers and independent international investigations must be urgently deployed to the region to monitor and verify emerging developments. Cross-border aid, including emergency humanitarian assistance and medical care, must be enabled between the Myanmar-Bangladesh border, specifically to Maungdaw and Buthidaung townships and other areas in Rakhine State. Justice must continue to guide all actions for civilians in Rakhine State and across the country: all perpetrators of atrocities – including the Burmese military and the Arakan Army – must be held accountable under international law.
