On Saturday (September 24) around 11 am, a military vehicle hit one Mohammed Fayas (17) a Rohingya of Khon Thai village of Buthidaung township, while he was coming to town from his village with a motor cycle. Now Fayas is fighting with death due to severe injury he received.
The locals said, “Fayas was riding a motorcycle from his home to Buthidaung town, while three military vehicles of the Burmese army drove in front of the Phanzin River bridge, and the third one hit Fayas who is in critical condition.”
“When passers by gathered on the spot, one of the military officer said that they would take Fayas to Hospital for treatment.” The locals said, ‘The military officer said that he would pay 400,000 Kyats to victim.”
